Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The 2017 Adipura Kencana Parade was carried out uniquely by the Malang City Government. This parade became a special entertainment for the people of Malang City amidst the cold air in this City of Education.
Children, foreign tourists passing by, and the general public were very enthusiastic in welcoming the environmental award procession that Malang City received on Wednesday (2/8). (read also: Malang City Wins Adipura Kencana Award)
Riding a decorated horse-drawn carriage from Madyopuro Village, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton brought the Adipura Kencana Trophy followed by all OPD officials in the Malang City environment. In addition to the Adipura Kencana Trophy, Malang City's achievements that were also paraded were the Adiwiyata Mandiri School award, the Child-Friendly City Trophy, the Child Deed Acceleration Plaque, and certificates.
When the procession group entered the Malang City Hall area, they were immediately greeted by the Chairman of the Malang City DPRD, Arief Wicaksono. Present at this event were all officials in the Malang City Government, Malang City Police Chief AKBP Hoiruddin Hasibuan, Commander of the 0833 Malang City Kodim, Kajari and all the side ranks.
Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton said that the success of Malang City in achieving various achievements cannot be separated from the role and strong support of all components of society.
"I hope that this achievement will further strengthen the ties of friendship between all components of Malang City society. Maintaining unity and togetherness is the main capital to achieve success," explained Abah Anton, as the Mayor of Malang is familiarly called, Thursday (3/8).
So far in Malang City, he added, there have been many significant changes, both in the field of infrastructure development, human resources, and also the way of thinking of the community. The many thematic villages in Malang City are proof of the creativity and willingness of the people of Malang City to progress.
Meanwhile, Malang City DPRD Chairman Arief Wicaksono said that the Adipura Kencana award, the Adiwiyata Mandiri School, and various other awards were very proud. These results show the seriousness of the Malang City Government in realizing what the people of Malang City expect. "This achievement proves that the government has worked optimally," said Arief.
Arief added, Malang City DPRD will continue to support the Malang City Government program to realize development for the welfare of the community. This achievement is certainly very motivating and increases the desire of the people of Malang City to live clean, healthy and beautiful as they aspire to.
The Adipura Kencana and Adiwiyata Mandiri Trophy Parade departed from the Official Residence of the Mayor of Malang on Jl Ijen No. 2 heading to Jl Sindoro (Taman Slamet), moving towards Jl Semeru, Jl Kahuripan, and finishing at Malang City Hall. (cah/yon)
