Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton together with the Malang City Police Chief AKBP Hoiruddin Hasibuan and the Commander of the 0833 Malang City Military District, Lieutenant Colonel (Inf) Nurul Yaqin released the first wave of prospective Hajj pilgrims (CJH) of Malang City at Rampal Field, Tuesday (8/8).

In his speech, the mayor, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, advised prospective Hajj pilgrims to always maintain their health while performing the Hajj pilgrimage in the Holy Land.
Abah Anton also prayed for the prospective Hajj pilgrims so that when they depart and return from the Holy Land of Mecca, they will be given safety and that they will be happy Hajj pilgrims.
"Hopefully the prospective Hajj pilgrims who depart will be given safety by Allah SWT in carrying out their worship," said Abah Anton, praying.
Based on data from the Ministry of Religion, the number of prospective Hajj pilgrims who departed for the Holy Land was 1.315 CJH. The details include 605 male Hajj pilgrims and 710 female Hajj pilgrims.
The oldest male hajj pilgrim is 86 years old and the female hajj pilgrim is 84 years old. Meanwhile, the youngest male hajj pilgrim is 18 years old and the female is 19 years old.
The prospective hajj pilgrims from Malang City are scheduled to arrive back in Indonesia on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. From Malang City, the prospective hajj pilgrims are divided into three groups, namely Group 38, Group 39 and Group 40. (say/yon)
