Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji conducted the release of the Flag Raising Troops (Paskibraka) of Malang City at the Hall of the Indonesian Navy Base (Lanal) Malang, Jl. Yos Sudarso 14 Malang, Thursday (17/8).
The event was also attended by the Malang City Police Chief AKBP Hoiruddin Hasibuan, the Commander of the 0833 Malang City Military District, Lieutenant Colonel (Inf) Nurul Yaqin, the Head of the Malang City Education Office Zubaidah, the ranks of the TNI and Polri, and the parents of the Paskibraka.
The troops who had gallantly raised the Red and White Flag at the ceremony to commemorate the 72nd Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at Malang City Hall received direct appreciation from Deputy Mayor Sutiaji.
In his speech, Sutiaji expressed his gratitude to the Paskibraka of Malang City who tirelessly trained under the hot sun and successfully carried out their duties on that historic day for the Indonesian nation.
"This is proof that the Paskibraka serve the nation and country, all done because of their love for Indonesia," said Sutiaji.
In addition, Sutijai also advised the next generation of the nation to instill the spirit of the Red and White in their hearts, so that a sense of nationalism and love for Indonesia becomes a provision in realizing development.
"Therefore, young people must have three intelligences, namely mental intelligence, spiritual intelligence and social intelligence," he said.
The sense of obedience to parents is also not forgotten to be the most important message conveyed by Sutiaji. He said that so far there has been no human being more deserving in life than parents who have educated their children with full affection.
"Therefore, on behalf of the Malang City Government, I also express my gratitude to the parents of the Paskibra troops who have rendered services today," he concluded. (say/yon)
