Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji led a healthy walk to commemorate the 72nd Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at Griya Shanta Housing, Mojolangu Village, Sunday (20/8). This walk was the result of collaboration between local residents and Bank Jatim.
In this event, Sutiaji was accompanied by the President Director of Bank Jatim, Suroso and the Head of the Bank Jatim Malang City Branch, Farid and local community leaders. In his speech, Sutiaji appreciated the collaboration between residents and stakeholders so that it produced something that had beneficial value such as the walking event that was held this time.
In fact, this collaboration also leads to the development of infrastructure, namely parks located around the housing complex. Bank Jatim plans to disburse funds Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to maximize Green Open Space (RTH) in the Griya Shanta housing complex.
"This is a form of synergy between the community and stake holders, so that the residents' proposal to build a park was immediately captured by Bank Jatim. This is very good," said Sutiaji.
He added that the unity and spirit in filling independence with development needs to be continuously carried out. The Malang City Government also continues to synergize with residents in this effort. "The existence of the government is because of the existence of the people, therefore both must synergize with each other," he explained.
The Deputy Mayor also advised the community to continue to instill the spirit of harmony and togetherness so that a sense of unity can be realized in life. "We may have different races, tribes, religions, but we are still one Indonesia," said Sutiaji. (say/yon)
