Jakarta (malangkota.go.id) – University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) is one of the recipients of the 72 achievement icons award at the Indonesian Achievement Festival held by the Presidential Working Unit for Pancasila Ideology Development (UKP-PIP).
UMM Rector Drs. H. Fauzan, M.Pd received the Indonesian Achievement Festival award directly with the theme Pancasila Inspiration for Progress at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Monday (21/8).
In general, this event is packaged in the form of a festival filled with exhibitions and art performances. The series of events contain various creations and achievements of the nation's children in various fields (art, culture, social, technology, and sports) as well as art and cultural performances from Indonesian artists who have received international recognition. This activity is presented in various interactive participatory format events.
UMM is considered to have brought the good name of the Indonesian nation to the international level as a symbol of the practice of the Pancasila points. Starting from a simple movement, namely creating a great work in a group or team, working together shoulder to shoulder and tirelessly. All of that under the guidance of the supervising lecturer and support from UMM to realize the dream that is now a reality.
Receive appreciation and awards for their achievements that even reach the world level. Among others, the achievement of first place in the world-class robot festival in America, finally brought UMM to receive an award at the Indonesian Achievement Festival this time.
UMM Rector Drs. Fauzan, M,Pd admitted that he was very proud of his students' achievements that brought UMM's name to receive this award from UKP-PIP. According to him, this award could be a trigger for the quality tradition developed by UMM.
"UMM has long developed a tradition of quality that is not only developed by lecturers, but also students. Moments like this are a form of appreciation for the achievements made," said Fauzan.
This humorous man hopes that this event will become a routine agenda and become a motivation for UMM not only in the field of robotics, but also others. "We hope that UMM can achieve more achievements in the future. According to our motto, there is no day without achievement, no achievement that is not appreciated, and no violation that is not sanctioned, from UMM for the Nation," he concluded. (say/yon)
