Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – To help cooperatives in Malang City to develop further, the Malang City Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises (UM) Service held an activity called 'Improving the Competence of Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP)/Savings and Loan Business (USP) Managers' at the Kartika Hotel in Malang, Tuesday (12/9).
Head of the Cooperative and UM Office of Malang City Dra. Tri Widyani Pangestuti, M.Si revealed that the Malang City Government is very serious in fostering and developing cooperatives. Including this time through manager competency improvement activities by inviting cooperatives throughout Malang City.
"The role of cooperative managers is very important to be able to develop cooperatives rapidly. For that reason, it is very important to carry out this activity," explained Yani, Tri Widyani's nickname, Tuesday (12/9).
Through this activity, Yani hopes that cooperative managers in Malang City will be more motivated and persistent in advancing cooperatives. According to him, with high enthusiasm and motivation, various problems, no matter how difficult, can be overcome.
"In this era, everything changes so quickly. Not only does it change every day, it also changes every second. So do cooperatives," added the woman who was once the Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Service.
The existence of cooperatives, continued Yani, is currently expected to be able to improve the welfare of its members, be able to face the developments of the times and be able to compete in developing businesses.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Cooperative Supervision Division of the Cooperative and UM Service of Malang City, Drs. M. Rabidin, MM, said that this activity was intended to develop the capabilities of cooperative managers in Malang City.
He said, along with the development of time, the development of the business world today is very tight. According to him, a brilliant and capable cooperative manager is needed so that the cooperatives managed can develop rapidly. "We want this activity to make cooperatives in Malang City healthier and develop rapidly," Rabidin hoped.
The KSP/USP Manager Competency Improvement Activity was held for two days starting yesterday, Tuesday (12/9) to Wednesday (13/9) with 80 participants. In order for the training to run optimally, the committee brought in competent speakers from professional training institutions and the Cooperative and UM Office of Malang City.
Various materials presented by the speakers in this activity include how to prepare cooperative strategy planning, conduct negotiations, make contracts, loans/financing and collateral binding. Also assess the health level of cooperatives, conduct partnerships, present presentations
To make it even more perfect, the activity is also filled with material on the principles of managing an organization's management, securing assets and infrastructure, implementing internal control, analyzing work programs and revenue and expense budget plans.
Where the ultimate goal of this activity is that cooperative managers in Malang City can be more competent, can develop cooperatives well so that members of the Cooperative in Malang City can be more prosperous. (cah/yon)
