Meanwhile, Deputy Director of USAID Indonesia Ryan Washburn, in his speech expressed his gratitude for being well received by the Malang City Government. "USAID provides technical assistance to several countries, especially at the national level and at the regional level as we do in Malang City in the water and sanitation sector," he said.

"We want to achieve the target of aid of one million people and for clean water supply and better sanitation for 500 thousand people. Because clean water and environmentally friendly sanitation are basic needs for good health and improving the overall quality of life," added Ryan.

Then the event continued with the signing partnership agreement between the Malang City Government and USAID IUWASH PLUS regarding the development of the drinking water and sanitation sector in Malang City and the signing of a commitment to achieve the universal access target of 100-0-100 in 2019.
