Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Indonesian Nephrology Association (Pernefri) held the XIII National Conference and Annual Meeting 2017 at the Harris Hotel Malang from Thursday (21/9) to Saturday (23/9). This event aims to improve professionalism in the field of nephrology and hypertension.
The conference was attended by 1.250 doctors from various specialist fields. Several discussions became important agendas in this conference, such as scientific activities, organizational meetings, and trainings.
This was conveyed by the Regional Coordinator of Pernefri East Java, dr. Pranawa, Sp.PD-KGH to the media crew after the conference. In this conference, DR. dr. Aida Lidya, Sp.PD-KGH was elected as the Chairperson of Pernefri for the 2017-2020 period.
According to the bespectacled woman, this program is to support the government's program in efforts to control the quality of services in the era of health insurance. "Pernefri will oversee the implementation of health services to become better, especially in terms of patient safety" said Dr. Ida, Saturday (23/9).
He added, as an effort to help the government in reducing the cost of health services, Pernefri will work together with other internal medicine divisions by taking preventive measures against kidney failure (diabetes mellitus and hypertension). (say/yon)
