Klojen, (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government received a Visit from the ASEAN Clean Tourism City Jury Team from the Ministry of Tourism led by Nurwan Hadiyono, Tuesday (3/10) at Malang City Hall. The group was received directly by the Assistant for Government and Social Welfare of Malang City, Drs. Abdul Malik, M.Pd.
Also present during the visit were the Assistant for the Economy of Malang City, Ir. Diah Ayu Kusuma Dewi, MT and the Head of the Tourism Office Ida Made Wahyuni, SH., MSi and related Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD).
"It is an honor to be related to matters related to the representation of Malang City tourism. So that it can give us meaning to develop ASEAN standard tourism," Abdul Malik.
He added that Malang City has made maximum efforts but if there is anything lacking we will fix it. So that later Malang City can meet the requirements of this assessment.
In relation to this, the Head of the Jury Team, Nurwan Hadiyono, conveyed the purpose of his visit regarding the submission of ASEAN standard input files, so that later they can be followed up by the Malang City Government.
Previously, the ASEAN Clean Tourism City Jury Team from the Ministry of Tourism had also conducted observations for 2 days at several tourist attractions in Malang City, such as Jodipan Colorful Village, Malang City Merdeka Square and 3G Village.
Of the 108 targeted criteria, the Malang City Government received an assessment that had been met of 81 or 75% of the total value. However, from the assessment results there are still 38 that must be completed and attached with evidence by the Malang City Government.
The event ended with a dialogue session that is expected so that the Malang City Government can maintain the scores that have been obtained and even add points that are lacking. (say/ram)
