Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – After a hiatus for some time, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, again held a social gathering agenda combined with a village visit activity in the Bumiayu Subdistrict, Kedungkandang District, Sunday (15/10).
During this impromptu visit, the Mayor of Malang, who is usually called Abah Anton, was accompanied by the ranks of OPD in the Malang City Government, the Assistant for Government and Social Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Drs. Abdul Malik, M.Pd, the Assistant for General Administration dr. Supranoto, M.Kes, the Head of Kedungkandang District Pent Haryanto, the Chief of Kedungkandang Police Suko Wahyudi, and the Danramil 0833/02 Kedungkandang Captain Inf. Sunarko.
Starting the blusukan activity in the Jl Lembayung RW 02 area of Bumiayu Village, the group led directly by Abah Anton went to several points to see the real conditions in the community. Abah Anton also had time to visit and see his residents who were sick, to see the condition of uninhabitable houses that would be given assistance in the form of house renovation.
In addition, Abah Anton also inspected the Lembayung suspension bridge located in RW 02, Bumiayu Village and the Balak Bridge in RW 05 to find out their condition so that if there is any damage, it can be repaired immediately for the safety of the public crossing the bridge.
At the end of the blusukan route, Abah Anton held a community meeting agenda. On this occasion, Abah Anton symbolically handed over birth certificates and death certificates. As well as some school equipment assistance and other assistance such as basic necessities that are very useful for the Bumiayu community.
Abah Anton in his speech expressed his gratitude for the very good welcome and hospitality from the residents of Bumiayu Village. "I need to say, this sambung rasa is carried out with the aim of establishing good and synergistic communication between the city government and the community to resolve various problems that arise in the community," explained Abah Anton.
"We do this so that we are closer to the community. If the community is harmonious, we are very proud, especially in developing the area in each sub-district," added Abah Anton.
"With a high sense of togetherness and solidarity, the development journey in Malang City will continue to produce real results and be beneficial for the community," he added.
It was also emphasized that all development activities have been budgeted through Musrenbang. "However, if there are activities that have not been included in the 2017 budget year, then I will oversee them directly so that they can be budgeted in 2018 so that each sub-district can immediately continue development in their areas," said Abah.
Meanwhile, Bumiayu Village Head, Siswanto Heru Suparnadi in his speech expressed his hope that this blusukan and sambung rasa event would be able to bring the Malang City Government and the community closer so that the economic potential, physical development and education could be realized properly.
