Improve the Quality of Cooperatives, Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Office Holds Socialization

Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Service held a Socialization of Quality Cooperative Assessment at Hotel Montana 2 Malang, Tuesday (31/10).

This socialization was opened by the Secretary of the Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Service of Malang City, Martha MRL Tobing, SH, MM and attended by cooperative experts.

In her speech, Martha MRL Tobing said that Law No. 25 of 1992 concerning Cooperatives was drafted with the aim of... to clarify and emphasize the identity, objectives, position, role, management, business and capital of the Cooperative as well as the development of the Cooperative, so as to better guarantee the realization of the Cooperative life as mandated by Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution

"The Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives & Small and Medium Enterprises is determined to carry out cooperative revitalization. One of them is through improving good cooperative governance or competent cooperatives," explained Martha.

Guided by professional, transparent, participatory, accountable business institutions and financial governance with a high level of compliance, it is hoped that good and quality cooperatives can be implemented in all cooperatives in Indonesia.

Cooperatives can be used as one of the right containers for a people's economy without gaps. Cooperative efforts can aim to advance the welfare of members, in particular and society in general, and build a national economic order.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Cooperative Supervision Division of the Cooperatives and Micro Business Service of Malang City Drs. M. Rabidin, MM said that this activity was intended to help cooperative administrators in Malang City to become more competent.

Starting from helping to make proposals to the management regarding governance and policy patterns so that cooperatives increasingly gain the trust of the community.

"We hope that this activity can help cooperative administrators in Malang City to be even better at creating policy patterns, cooperative governance, accountability and efficiency," Rabidin hoped, Monday (31/10).

Rabidin said that this socialization activity was attended by 60 cooperatives in Malang City, namely from KPRI, Kompotren, KUD, Primkop, KSU, KSP and Sharia Cooperatives, each represented by two administrators.

This socialization brought in three competent speakers in their fields. Namely Irfan Fatoni from CV Dutra Pratama Consulting who presented the material on the Benefits of Cooperative Ranking to Increase Competitiveness, Noegroho Dwi Poetranto from the Malang City Cooperative and Micro Business Service who presented material related to the Legality of Cooperative Legal Entities, while Drs. M. Rabidin, MM presented the material on Quality Cooperative Strategy. (cah/yon)
