Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Optimizing the role of government in realizing excellent public services continues to be carried out by the Malang City Government. One of them is by holding workshop entitled 'Improving the Quality of Public Services in Malang City' which was held by the Organizational Section of the Malang City Regional Secretariat at the Savana Hotel, Malang City, Wednesday (1/11).
This workshop was attended by the Assistant for General Administration of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Dr. Supranoto, M.Kes, Inspector of Malang City Drs. Subari, Expert Staff for Law, Government and Politics of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Drs. Mulyono, M.Si, Head of Organization Section Dwi Rahayu, SH, M.Hum, and representatives of the East Java Provincial Ombudsman.
In his speech, the Assistant for General Administration of the Malang City Regional Secretariat welcomed this activity. According to him, this is a form of government responsibility to the community regarding the fulfillment of various service joints.
Public services, he continued, are related to the fulfillment of civil rights and basic needs of the population. Therefore, in an effort to improve the quality of public services, various things have been maximized by the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) and will ultimately be able to provide satisfaction to the community.
"As one form of government responsibility to the community, of course a public service organized by the government must cover all the needs of the community. And the most important thing is how the community can feel satisfaction from the services provided to them," explained Supranoto
The workshop participants were given materials by three speakers with different themes. The East Java Provincial Ombudsman provided material on Public Service Provider Compliance, the East Java Provincial Secretariat Organization Bureau provided material on Improving the Quality of Public Services, and the East Java Provincial Education and Training Agency provided material on Performance Culture Groups.
"Malang City Government hopes that with this workshop, OPD can provide public services well and optimally," concluded Supranoto. (say/yon)
