Solok City Government Studies Malang City Government's Public Services

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government received a comparative study visit from the Sub-district & Village Apparatus from the Regional Secretariat of Solok City, West Sumatra, Thursday (9/11).

The working visit of sub-district and village officials from the Solok City regional secretariat took place in a lively manner

This visit was received by the Head of the Malang City Environmental Service, Drs. Agoes Edy Poetranto, MM in the Expert Staff Room of Malang City Hall. Meanwhile, the group of 23 guests was led by Drs. Nova Elvino as the Assistant for the Solok City Government Sector.

Agoes said that the realization of quality public services is one of the characteristics of good governance and is the goal of utilizing state apparatus.

Within this framework, the steps taken to improve and strengthen the quality of public services are a continuous program of activities and require commitment from all government officials, including sub-district and village officials.

"In line with this, ladies and gentlemen, there is a great need for sub-district and village apparatus who have quality human resources, are responsive, have creative ideas, fresh thoughts, are innovative, and are flexible in providing services and organizing government, development and society well," explained Agoes.

Based on this, the Malang City Government also held the Otonomi Award event at the sub-district/urban village level with the mission of fostering regional independence and the development of various innovations and creativity at the regional level.

"From here the thematic village program was born in each sub-district, including Colorful Village, 3D Village (Tridi), White Village, Arema Village, and 3G Village (Glintung Go Green) which will be the object of field visits by groups from the Solok City Government," he added.

Nova Elvino, the head of the guest group, in his speech expressed his gratitude for the good reception of the comparative study visit from Solok City. "We hope this visit is useful, and what is appropriate will be implemented in our area," he said.

"In the future, hopefully this cooperation will continue to run well in various fields. What we have obtained today in Malang City, especially related to public services, we will compare with our region," concluded Nova. (say/yon)
