Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – A warm atmosphere was felt in the farewell and welcoming event of the Malang City Police Chief held at the Malang City Hall, Saturday (2/12). The current Malang City Police Chief is AKBP Asfuri, SIK, replacing AKBP Hoiruddin Hasibuan who was transferred to serve as Head of the Human Resources Division of Densus 88 Polri.

Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton in his speech expressed his gratitude to AKBP Hoiruddin for the cooperation that has been well established so far. The many achievements in Malang City so far cannot be separated from the role of AKBP Hoiruddin Hasibuan who worked hand in hand with Forkopimda and also the people of Malang City.
"The current conducive city of Malang cannot be separated from the role of AKBP Hoiruddin Hasibuan in leading. We are very grateful," said Abah Anton, as the Mayor of Malang is familiarly called.
Abah Anton also delivered a welcoming speech to the new Malang City Police Chief, AKBP Asfuri. Abah Anton hopes that the new Malang City Police Chief can continue the good performance of the previous Police Chief.
With the current dynamics of Malang City entering the preparation stage for the regional head elections (Pilkada), Abah Anton said the role of the Police is very important in maintaining a conducive atmosphere in Malang City.
Abah Anton advised AKBP Hoiruddin Hasibuan to always remember how enthusiastic Aremania is to work together to create a conducive atmosphere. Not to forget, Abah Anton also entrusted Aremania in Jakarta so that they can maintain their friendship.
AKBP Hoiruddin Hasibuan also feels that Malang City is his home and Arema is part of his blood. "Thanks to the support of all Arema residents, we have been able to carry out our duties well so far. I am sure that my successor, AKBP Asfuri, will be able to continue even better," said AKBP Hoiruddin.
AKBP Hoiruddin said that he and AKBP Asfuri had also served together when they were in Wamena, Papua.
Meanwhile, AKBP Asfuri admitted that he was proud to be on duty in Malang City and received an extraordinary welcome from the Mayor of Malang and Aremania. "I hope that from this good start, in the future it can be even better to create a conducive Malang City," he said. (cah/yon)
