Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The implementation of the 10 Main PKK Programs has basically touched various aspects of family life in an effort to empower the community to create independent and prosperous families.
The 10 Main PKK Programs will be more meaningful if followed by the awareness that the 10 Main PKK Programs are not just a slogan, but should really be implemented starting from the city level PKK to the RT/RW level PKK.
This was conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton on the sidelines of his speech when receiving the assessment team for the Best Implementation Competition for 10 Main PKK Programs at the East Java Province Level in 2017 at the Polowijen Village Hall, Blimbing District, Friday (8/12).
Accompanied by the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK Team Hj. Dewi Farida Suryani and the Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, the Mayor of Malang who is familiarly called Abah Anton said that in order to realize a cultured, happy, prosperous, advanced, independent family, living in a harmonious atmosphere based on faith and devotion to God Almighty, it is necessary to have good efforts and cooperation from all PKK administrators and the entire community to further optimize the implementation of the 10 Main PKK Programs which are basically the implementation of various activities that support regional government development programs.
As the mentor of the Malang City PKK TP, Abah Anton also assessed that so far the Malang City PKK Team together with the related Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) have made efforts to help, support, strengthen and empower women so that they can solve problems through the transformation of knowledge, insight, awareness and skills in various areas of life.
Such as in the fields of education, health, religion, social, welfare and the environment as well as politics, which are expected to be able to improve the quality of women's human resources by holding seminars, workshops, counseling, and various socializations.
"Thanks to the synergy, the PKK Team of Malang City at every level can carry out its work program well, orderly and smoothly. Regarding this competition, we are optimistic that we can be the best," he said optimistically.
Abah Anton also advised that the arrival of the judging team this time should not only be used as a ceremonial stage of the competition, but also all PKK cadres of Malang City can use this moment to continue learning. "Because I believe that those who are present here are people who have the best capabilities in their fields," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Assessment Team for the Best Implementation Competition for 10 Main PKK Programs at the East Java Province Level, Hj. Erna Harun said that Malang City is a city that has many achievements. Likewise in the field of family welfare empowerment.
"Therefore, our presence in Malang City is expected to be able to contribute to the development of PKK Malang City. This is still with the aim that PKK Malang City can continue to provide its best service to the community," explained Erna. (say/yon)
