Mayor of Malang Submits Excerpt of DIPA for 2018

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Entering 2018, various strategic plans and general policies stipulated in the 2018 State Budget and outlined in the Budget Implementation List (DIPA) can reflect the continuation of development priorities that have been implemented.

Based on this, on Wednesday (20/12) the Submission of the Excerpt of the Budget Implementation List (DIPA) for the 2018 Fiscal Year was carried out by the Mayor of Malang at the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) Malang.

In addition to the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton, the event was also attended by the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of East Java Province R. Wiwin Istanti, Commander of the Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base, Head of the 2nd Kostrad Infantry Division, Chancellor of Brawijaya University, Chancellor of Malang State University and Director of Malang State Polytechnic.

In his speech, the Mayor of Malang, who is usually called Abah Anton, said that the early submission of DIPA was a reflection of the shared desire that the process of implementing development and budget disbursement could take place more timely, namely that it must have started in early January 2018.

"This is expected to have a greater impact on our economic activities, so that the community will be able to immediately enjoy the results of development more quickly, development can run better, services to the community can also run better, and the benefits of government funds (APBN and APBD) can immediately be felt by the community," he explained.

Abah Anton hopes that budget users can make maximum use of the state budget through planned development programs, both for infrastructure development, food and energy security, public transportation, social protection programs such as school operational assistance, assistance for poor students, family hope programs, people's business credit, and the national social security system in the health sector.

"We also have to use the budget efficiently and appropriately in accordance with the principles of good governance. Let us prevent budget misuse and leakage through credible planning, accountable implementation, and disciplined supervision,” said Abah Anton.

The friendly man also appealed to all elements of society to continue to increase regional fiscal capacity and reduce the fiscal gap between the center and regions and between regions, improve the quality of public services in the regions, and reduce the gap in public services between regions, as well as increase development in disadvantaged, outermost, and frontier regions.

Meanwhile, Head of KPPN Malang Susanto, in his report said that the 2018 DIPA submitted through KPPN Malang for Malang City, Malang Regency, Batu City, Pasuruan City and Pasuruan Regency amounted to 172 DIPA with a nominal value of Rp. 7.132.631.753.000,-.

"In addition to the distribution of DIPA funds, starting in 2017, KPPN has been given the task of distributing Village Funds and Physical DAK from the State Treasury to the regional general cash account," explained Susanto. (say/yon)
