Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The movement to revitalize parks that continues to be encouraged by the City Government continues to receive support from various parties. This can be seen from the inauguration of Dempo Park located in the SMAK St. Albertus Malang area by the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton, Saturday (23/12).

This beautiful rainbow-like park is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program from alumni of SMAK St. Albertus, also known as SMA Dempo.
The Mayor of Malang, who is usually called Abah Anton, said that the revitalization of Dempo Park is increasingly beautifying the Dempo area which can be a means for environmental sustainability. According to him, with the many flower plants in Dempo Park, it will restore the glory of Malang City as the City of Flowers.
"We really appreciate what SMA Dempo has done. The Malang City Government only helps facilitate what the community wants," explained Abah Anton, Saturday (23/12).
As a City of Education, he added, all stakeholders in the world of education in Malang City are expected to participate in fostering environmental awareness. The hope is that one child will plant at least one tree, it doesn't need to be expensive because the goal is to foster a love for preserving the environment.
Meanwhile, the Principal of SMAK St. Albertus, Br. Antonius Sumardi O Carm expressed his gratitude to the Malang City Government for realizing SMAK Dempo's desire to revitalize Dempo Park.
Dempo High School continues to have the desire to participate in coloring development in Malang City, one of which is by revitalizing Dempo Park.
The revitalization of Dempo Park received a lot of support, especially from alumni of SMA Dempo and residents around the school. It was conveyed that Dempo Park is a proof of the dedication of alumni to their alma mater.
"Through the revitalization of Dempo Park, we are confident that we have supported the Malang City Government's program to build parks in Malang City," said Sumardi.
The beauty of Dempo Park has also received recognition from the Acting Head of the Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (Dispermukim) of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT. The beauty of Dempo Park with various kinds of flowers and plants, according to him, makes Dempo Park beautiful like a rainbow.
