Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – At the beginning of 2018, the Malang City Trade Service is planning to hold market operations again to stabilize the prices of basic necessities in the market.
Head of the Malang City Trade Office Drs. Wahyu Setianto, MM revealed that currently the Trade Office will again actively hold market operations to stabilize prices. The plan is for market operations to be carried out immediately after seeing several recent developments.
"We will hold another market operation soon. We will hold a market operation in the near future by re-collaborating with Bulog," Wahyu explained, Thursday (4/1).
After conducting a direct review, Wahyu said that various basic necessities have indeed increased, be it rice, eggs or chicken meat. He gave an example, chicken eggs which are usually Rp 18.000 per kilogram, are currently priced at Rp 24.000, while cut chicken meat has reached Rp 32.000 per kilogram.
Wahyu said that in the market operation, various basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, sugar will be provided at low prices. Various basic necessities will be sold at several points in Malang City as has been done so far.
"The Pasar Besar, Pasar Blimbing, Pasar Oro-Oro Dowo are like they have been all this time. We hope that by holding market operations, we can help people get basic necessities at affordable prices," concluded Wahyu. (cah/yon)
