Breadfruit, (malangkota.go.id) – The selection of political ambassadors received appreciation from various parties, such as the Malang City KPU, political figures, and young people. Through these political ambassadors, the Malang City KPU targets to embrace 25 percent of new voters in the 2018 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).
Later, the Malang City KPU will synergize with these political ambassadors in various activities, so that the level of public participation is high during the upcoming regional elections.
At least those are some of the things conveyed by the Commissioner of the Malang City KPU, Ashari Husein on the sidelines of the political ambassador election event, Saturday (13/1) night at the Malang City Point Apartment and Citywalk. This was initiated by the Great Young People (AMH) community of Malang City. This event was attended by dozens of young people from various universities in Malang, and also attended by various ambassadors, such as maritime ambassadors, tourism and traffic ambassadors. Two political figures, the commissioner of the Malang City KPU and observers fashion, was appointed as a jury at this event.
"When competing, not only beautiful and handsome faces, as well as talents and interests are at stake for the ambassadors. But the skill in answering every question from the judges also dominates. So they can later become real political ambassadors and become one of the extensions of the Malang City KPU," added Ashari.
At this moment, in addition to the three winners, one pair of talented political ambassadors and favorite ambassadors were also selected. "Every agenda that will be held by the Malang City KPU, these ambassadors will be involved, to help socialize the election agenda and invite the public to participate in the democratic party," continued Ashari.
Separately, one of the political party figures, Mochammad Geng Wahyudi said, this event is very good and its main target is young people. So far, according to him, the participation of young people in the democratic party is still relatively low. One of the reasons is that the assumption of politics is cruel and full of trickery.
