Supporting infrastructure, availability of medicines, and wastewater treatment installations or ipal were not spared from this inspection. The council members also had time to ask patients and hospital management about services, to ensure that the community is well served.

"The results of our monitoring, so far for services, infrastructure and availability of medicine there are no significant problems. However, there are still some things that are of concern to the hospital, such as cleanliness which is still not good, ventilation in some rooms must be increased, and the working hours of doctors," said the chairman of Commission D of the Malang City DPRD, Imam Syafe'i.

He added that there are still some doctors who are late to work, so that patients have to wait. "In the future, we hope that this will not happen again, especially for civil servant doctors, so that the community is served optimally. The competence of medical personnel should also continue to be improved, so that malpractice does not occur or can be avoided," continued Imam.

Meanwhile, for waste management, research has been conducted so far, but the results are still not out. However, the people's representatives also appealed for waste management to also be given special attention. Another thing that needs correction is that the writing on the board must be fixed and there must be something additional at the entrance of the hospital that will attract people to come.

"This hospital in the future must become one of the best hospitals with optimal service. The physical appearance will also affect public interest, in addition to various innovations from the hospital. Don't let residents who seek treatment be disappointed with the service at this hospital," appealed the PKB politician.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Hospital's Medical and Nursing Services Division, dr. Ida Megawati, admitted that she was pleased with the visit of the council members. "This visit and correction will be a motivation for us to make various improvements," she said.

After this inspection, it is hoped that in the future the Malang City Government Hospital can provide more optimal services to the community, be more innovative, and become a priority referral hospital. (say/ram)
