Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The issue of waste is one of the main problems in the environmental field. Basically, human activities in their daily lives cannot be separated from waste production. Waste is not always a source of problems if it is managed properly.

The amount of waste, both inorganic waste (dry waste) and organic waste or what is known as wet waste, is increasing in volume along with the growth of the population in Malang City.
On that basis and following up on the Circular Letter from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry concerning Joint Work to Improve Waste Management in the Framework of Waste Awareness Day 2018, on Monday (29/01) the Mayor of Malang issued a Circular Letter concerning the Three-Month Waste Clean-up Agenda (TBBS) in the framework of Waste Awareness Day and Earth Day 2018.
This event was held in conjunction with the morning assembly of state civil servants (ASN) in the Malang City Government environment in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (29/01) which was led directly by the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton.
In his direction, the Mayor of Malang, who is often called Abah Anton, said that the Malang City Government is always trying to overcome the city's waste problem in various ways, one of which is by promoting the TBBS agenda.
"I hope that the people of Malang City and all elements within it can participate in making the program a success in order to realize a Malang City free of garbage. This should be our common concern, because the TBBS agenda is the best effort in the field of cleanliness," said Abah Anton.
The friendly man also hopes that all Regional Apparatus Organizations within the Malang City Government will also implement various cleanliness programs in accordance with the circular and at the same time disseminate the TBBS agenda comprehensively to the people of Malang City.
On this occasion also in-launching mobile toilet car."Hopefully, with the addition of these vehicles, the quality of our services to the people of Malang City will be further improved," said Abah Anton.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Environmental Service, Drs. Agoes Edy Poetranto, MM revealed that his party has various programs to support the efforts of Malang City to be free of waste. "We have many agendas to create a cleaner Malang City. In addition to this activity, we also conduct various socializations, cleanliness campaigns, talk show and various other activities," explained Agoes. (cah/hms/yon)
