Meanwhile, it is inevitable that petroleum is increasingly scarce and expensive. With the increasingly depleted fossil energy sources, in today's world there is a shift from the use of non-renewable energy sources to renewable energy sources.

Of the many renewable energy sources, the use of energy through solar cells is the most potential alternative to be implemented in Indonesia.

Solar energy is one of the energies that is currently being actively developed by the Indonesian government, because as a tropical country, Indonesia has quite large solar energy potential.

Based on the various benefits obtained from solar energy, the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.AP inaugurated the Solar Power Plant facility and the 15,36 On-Grid Capacity Solar Energy Learning Laboratory at SMAN 8 Malang, Tuesday (30/1).
