Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – To improve the human resources (HR) capacity of cooperatives and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs held training at the Sahid Montana Hotel, Malang City, Friday (2/2/2018).
Assistant Deputy for Community Participation Development of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Harianto, S.Sos, MM, Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton, Head of the Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Service of Malang City Dra. Tri Widyani P., M.Si, and Head of the Role Development Division of the Educational Organization of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia Eko Hariono were also present at the opening of the training activity.
Eko Hariono said that the Government continues to strive to develop cooperatives and SMEs. Not only is the number of cooperatives expected to increase, the quality of cooperatives is currently being continuously improved. "Improvement and development of human resources is very important. For that, we are holding this activity in Malang City," explained Eko, Friday (2/2).
The training, which was held until February 5, 2018, was attended by 150 participants and filled with various activities. Among them are related to the skills of making various food creations, knowledge of cooperatives and entrepreneurship, processing various foods, and also food packaging.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, welcomed the training to improve the human resources of KUKM. According to him, training like this will be very useful to improve the human resources of cooperatives and SMEs in Malang City.
"We hope that with the increasing number of human resources of cooperatives and SMEs in Malang City, in the future there will be more innovations that can be relied on to compete in the global era," hoped Abah Anton, as the Mayor of Malang is familiarly called.
Competition in all fields is also getting tighter considering that we are now entering the AFTA era (ASEAN Free Trade AreaTherefore, increasing abilities and skills is very necessary in order to be able to compete.
"Trainings such as making good packaging are also very important. Because, even though a product is of good quality if the packaging is bad, it is certainly difficult to attract people to buy," explained Abah Anton.
Abah Anton also hopes that participants who attend the training will make the most of this opportunity to absorb the knowledge provided by the speakers. "Hopefully in the future, cooperatives and SMEs in Malang City can increasingly show their role not only in Malang and East Java, but also in Indonesia and even internationally," he said. (cah/yon)
