Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Village in a park is the slogan of RW 10, Sawojajar Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City. This was informed by Sawojajar Village Head Moch. Fakihuddin, SH, M.Si on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Al-Fatah Mosque located on Jl. Danau Tondano Barat, Sawojajar, Sunday (4/2).

One of them, said Fakihuddin, is to utilize the courtyard of the Al-Fatah mosque as a child and family-friendly park.
Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton also appreciated and responded positively to what his citizens had done. "In one day, I inaugurated three newly completed mosques. This shows the enthusiasm for worship," said the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton in front of residents of RW 10, Sawojajar Village.
More encouragingly, Abah Anton said that most of the mosque construction came from the independence of the community. "Development that grows from the community, this is the strength of Malang City," he added again.
This is supported by the conduciveness of Malang City and the fact that Malang City's Human Development Index (HDI) is 80,46 percent, which is the highest in East Java.
Added the man who also got the nickname 'wagiman' (this crazy mayor of parks), Malang City has also been named a Livable City because of the level of comfort of the city and the lively growth of the existing thematic villages, and the latest is the inauguration of the 'Blue Village' in Sukoharjo Village, showing that this City of Education has been arranged on the right track.
In addition to inaugurating the Al-Fatah Mosque, Abah Anton, who on this occasion was accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, the Head of Kedungkandang District, and the Head of Sawojajar Village, also had the opportunity to inaugurate the Baiturrokhman Foundation which accommodates and fosters students from the Sawojajar village area.
Specifically to the foundation managers, Abah Anton advised about the importance of instilling good character and strengthening the joints of religious morals.
