Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The morning assembly of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Malang City Government environment led by the Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji in the yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (5/2) looked a little different from usual days. In his speech, Sutiaji invited all ASN to care about various disasters or extraordinary events that occur in this country.

In the front yard of Malang City Hall, there are also piles of medicines, various foods, blankets, and so on which are aid from residents and ASN who have a sense of concern for the suffering of the Asmat people, Papua. After the roll call, the Deputy Mayor of Malang symbolically handed over the aid to TNI representatives from Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya.
The delivery of this aid, said Sutiaji, is a form of concern for others. And that is why the Malang City Government also provided and sent a number of aids for Asmat residents who were hit by an extraordinary event (KLB) namely malnutrition.
"The Malang City Government will continue to raise various forms of assistance in the form of medicines, food, supplements and others to ease the burden on Asmat residents and to quickly recover from this disaster," added the bespectacled man.
This fundraising and aid distribution, Sutiaji continued, has become a shared obligation, especially as ASN who must set an example, and have a high sense of caring. "Maybe a pack of instant noodles doesn't mean much to us, but it will be very useful for those in need," he continued.
For the future, he said, other assistance that may be needed, such as medical personnel, volunteers and ambulances will be sent by the Malang City Government. "From this incident, it will provide a lesson and there must be wisdom. Do not look at the value of the assistance given, but how much benefit it will provide for those in need," explained Sutiaji.
"With the delivery of this aid, it is hoped that it can be useful and can ease the burden of Asmat residents so that this incident can end soon. For the technical delivery of this aid, the Malang City Government will coordinate with the local police and TNI," he concluded. (say/yon)
