Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – In order to prepare for the development of Malang City that is on target and sustainable, Lowokwaru District, Malang City held a Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang) in the hall of the Lowokwaru District Office, Wednesday (14/2).
Lowokwaru Sub-district Head Imam Badar, SE, M.Si, in his speech revealed that before the sub-district level Musrenbang was held, various stages of deliberation starting from the RT/RW level, to the village level had been carried out first.
"There are many proposals to be implemented in 2019. Most of them are infrastructure development," explained Abi, as Imam Badar is familiarly called, Wednesday (14/2).
He added, from 12 sub-districts in Lowokwaru District, there were 1.547 proposals that were submitted and discussed on this occasion. Of the 1.547 proposals, 85 percent were infrastructure development proposals.
The proposals received will then be discussed and refined before being brought to the Malang City Musrenbang.
Abi said that some of the urgent proposals to be implemented include road arrangement in the Jl. Bukirsari area to reduce traffic congestion in the area up to the Jl. Soekarno-Hatta area.
Through this Musrenbang, the Head of the Malang City Planning, Research and Development Agency (Barenlitbang), Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT, expressed his hope that development needs in the Lowokwaru District area would be truly explored.
"Just like in 2018, in 2019 infrastructure development is still a priority. Infrastructure development continues to be accelerated," he said.
Later, after the sub-district level Musrenbang is completed, it will be continued with the city level Musrenbang before being discussed in the Malang City DPRD. In June 2018, it is hoped that the development planning of Malang City will be clear which will be realized in 2019. (cah/yon)
