Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government received a working visit from the Banjarnegara Regency Government, Tuesday (13/3). Expert Staff for Economics and Finance of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Drs. Supriyadi M.Pd received the Banjarnegara Regency working visit group consisting of 30 people in the Meeting Room of the Malang City Hall.

This visit will discuss the spatial planning of the city government and the development of Malang City parks.
In his speech, Drs. Supriyadi M.Pd welcomed the group and also thanked them for the trust given to make Malang City the destination of the working visit.
He said that the strategic step in the arrangement and development of urban spatial planning is to build harmony or balance for the growth and development of all development sectors, be it in the fields of education, social, economic, tourism and others.
"Of course, all of that can be realized if it is followed by harmonious, aligned and integrated communication and coordination, so that in the future what the community needs can be in synergy with regional development plans," explained Supriyadi.
Among them, this is realized through the arrangement of parks and city decoration, such as the renovation of the Ijen pedestrian road and the provision of benches as well as the construction and arrangement of city parks through CSR funds. (Corporate Social Responsibility) from various private companies.
Such as the development of Merbabu Park carried out by PT. BDF Indonesia, Malabar City Forest by Otsuka Group, Merdeka Square by BRI, Trunojoyo Smart Park, Kunang-kunang Park and Slamet Park by PT. Bentoel Group.
"With these various efforts, Malang City received the Adipura Kirana award and the 2016 National Best Park Plaque. With efforts that are inseparable from the active role of the community, in 2017 Malang City again received the Adipura Kencana in the Large City category from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, as well as the Adiwiyata Cup which was won by SMP Negeri 15, SMA Negeri 2 and SMA Negeri 7 Malang," explained Supriyadi.
On the other hand, currently the Malang City Government is promoting various forms of community empowerment, including by holding the Sub-district and Village Autonomy Award with the hope of being able to motivate and encourage community empowerment at the sub-district and village levels so that they can maximize every potential in their area.
Supriyadi said that various breakthroughs and creativity continue to be carried out by the community, such as the creation of character villages including Colorful Village, Tridi Village, Glintung Go Green, and Blue Village.
"All of this is expected to have a positive impact. Not only for the development of local potential advantages, but also for economic growth and increasing the competitiveness and welfare of the people of Malang City," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Banjarnegara Regency, Budi Sarwono, in his speech, hoped that the Banjarnegara Regency Government would gain knowledge about the spatial infrastructure of the Malang City government and realize it in Banjarnegara Regency so that it can have a beautiful city.
After a friendly gathering in the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, the Banjarnegara Regency group had the opportunity to tour Malang City using the Malang City Tour Bus.
The group also had time to take pictures while walking along Jalan Ijen, Malang City Square, Colorful Village, Tridi Village, Blue Village and PKK Corner. (say/yon)
