The PWI Kudus group was received by the PWI Malang Management at the Malang City Hall and held various discussions. Such as discussions on responding to the current political year, how PWI Malang can create a pattern so that journalists under the auspices of PWI remain neutral.

Regarding this, the Head of PWI Malang Ariful Huda said that his party is strengthening the instillation and application of the journalistic code of ethics. "Some time ago after the inauguration of the new management, we also had a peace declaration to fight hoax news," he said.

On the other hand, PWI members and more specifically its administrators have also passed the Journalist Competency Test (UKW) held by the Press Council, so that the independence of journalists in reporting is professional and proportional.

Discussions on other matters also took place lively, such as those related to regional potential, excise revenue sharing funds, and increasing the competence and advocacy of journalists in carrying out their activities.

Chairman of PWI Kudus, Syaiful Anas admitted that he was happy to be able to visit and discuss with members and administrators of PWI Malang. In the future, he hopes that this communication network can be sustainable and can even become a routine agenda. (say/yon)
