Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The General Election Commission (KPU) of Malang City held an Open Plenary Meeting for the Recapitulation of the Revised Temporary Voter List and the Permanent Voter List (DPT) for the 2018 East Java Governor and Deputy Governor Election and the 18 Malang Mayor and Deputy Mayor Election at the Atria Hotel, Wednesday (04/2018/XNUMX).

Chairman of the Malang City KPU, Zaenuddin

The Malang City KPU has determined that the DPT for Malang City is 600.646 voters who are entitled to vote in the upcoming democratic party.

Malang City KPU Chairman Zaenuddin, revealed that this DPT is the result of verification from 57 sub-districts in Malang City. "From 600.646 DPT, consisting of 294.171 male voters and 306.475 female voters," explained Zaenuddin.

Zaenuddin said that this number has been reduced by 5.000 voters who were crossed out from the Temporary Voters List (DPS). There are many factors why they were finally crossed out. Among them are because of double voters, no data at the Population and Civil Registration Office, or because the person concerned has died.

In the upcoming democratic party, he said there will be 1.400 Polling Stations (TPS) spread across five sub-districts in Malang City. In detail, in Blimbing Sub-district with a total of 130.533 voters consisting of 63.333 male voters and 67.200 female voters, 301 TPS will be provided.

In Kedungkandang District, 137.626 DPT were recorded, divided into 68.038 male voters and 69.588 female voters, 323 TPS will be provided.

Then 184 TPS in Klojen District recorded 36.441 male voters and 39.104 female voters. And for Lowokwaru District there will be 269 TPS to accommodate 114.505 voters, each 56.049 male voters and 58.456 female voters.

Meanwhile, in Sukun District, there will be 323 polling stations spread across 11 sub-districts with a total of 142.437 voters, of which 70.310 are male voters and 72.127 are female voters.

"The DPT results will then be poured into the BAP and Form A33 or the post-plenary recap forum," he concluded. (cah/ram/yon)
