Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Hundreds of onthel bicycle/vintage bicycle lovers from and outside Malang City poured out to enliven the Onthel Bicycle Jamboree held in the Gajayana Stadium area of Malang, Sunday (22/4). The Onthel Bicycle Jamboree was held in order to enliven the 104th Anniversary of Malang City.
The third Onthel Bike Jamboree was directly dispatched by the Regional Secretary of Malang City, Drs. Wasto, SH, MH. The enthusiasm of the jamboree participants, both parents, young people, and mothers, was evident when they participated in the Onthel Bike Jamboree around the city.
The Regional Secretary of Malang City appreciates the holding of the 2018 Onthel Bike Jamboree. According to him, activities like this are very good for campaigning for the love of cycling to the wider community.
"Not only can you get around the city and do recreation at a low cost, cycling is also very good for maintaining health," said Wasto, Sunday (22/4).
"The presence of onthel bicycle participants from various regions in Indonesia is clearly very good for Malang City. The many tourists who come to this city (Malang) certainly further revitalizes the community's economy," he added.
Wasto emphasized that he will continue to support various positive activities such as the National Onthel Bike Jamboree. In addition to being able to make the community healthy, through activities like this, it can also move the wheels of the economy and improve the welfare of residents, especially residents of Malang City.
