Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Agriculture and Food Security Service held a coordination meeting of the Malang City Fertilizer and Pesticide Supervision Commission (KP3) Team in the hall of the Agriculture and Food Security Service, Friday (4/5).
On this occasion, the Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH led the coordination meeting directly which was attended by various elements of society. Also present were the Head of the Agriculture and Food Security Service of Malang City Sri Winarni, SH, representatives from the Kodim 0833 Malang City, and from the Malang District Attorney's Office.
In his speech, Wasto welcomed this activity because this activity was very good and had a noble aim to improve the welfare of farmers.
"I am a farmer's child, after retirement I also want to farm. The problem so far is that fertilizer is often scarce when needed by farmers. I hope this does not happen in Malang City," Wasto hoped, Friday (4/5).
Through this activity, Wasto hopes to be able to align perceptions to jointly maintain fertilizer and pesticide stocks so that farmers can plant well, harvest optimally so that food needs in Malang City can be met optimally.
"Don't let subsidized fertilizers be misused by irresponsible individuals so that they can harm the interests of farmers," Wasto stressed.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Agriculture and Food Security Service, Sri Winarni, SH, revealed that the purpose of this activity is to ensure the availability of fertilizers and pesticides on the market that are guaranteed to be authentic, right on target and at the right price according to the HET set by the Government.
"After this coordination meeting, it is hoped that the distribution of fertilizers and pesticides will be more targeted to the farmer or farmer group level and at the right price according to the HET of subsidized fertilizers, and can prevent the scarcity of subsidized fertilizers or even counterfeiting of fertilizers and pesticides in the Malang City area, so that it can increase the productivity of agricultural crops," Sri Winarni hoped.
