Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of Malang Raya in collaboration with the Pertamina Malang Depot held Ttalkshow Build Start Up Business 'Encouraging the Growth of Malang City's MSMEs' in the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Saturday (05/05). The activity was opened by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH.
This activity is expected to motivate, increase creativity and innovation for the birth of startup-startup new, because its existence in Malang City is still considered minimal. With the increasing insight of micro, small and medium business actors in Malang City, more and more successful entrepreneurs will be born from Malang City.
"Hopefully with such efforts, the activities of various startups will be able to raise the quality of the creative economy in Malang City. Not just business oriented, but more on the creative economy in the technology sector that can bring prosperity to the people of Malang City, towards a creative city," explained Wasto.
Wasto assessed that PWI was smart enough to look for opportunities Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and smart in educating its members and the community to produce entrepreneurs whose initial stages are known as MSMEs.
"If we continue to do this, Malang City will become a city with SMEs that grow well, then progress and finally economic growth will be better and unemployment will be minimized," he added.
He also hopes that the participants talkshow can utilize and absorb the knowledge that will be provided at this event so that economic independence will emerge for all participants so that they can later become reliable entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of PWI Malang Raya, Drs. Ariful Huda, M.Pd hopes that this activity can be useful in developing MSMEs considering that Malang City has high potential for the rapid growth of the creative industry.
"Through this activity, PWI Malang Raya hopes that this opportunity will be a gateway and starting point to realize the dream of building and expanding MSMEs in Malang City so that Malang City becomes a creative industrial city," said Arif.
With increasingly tight business competition in the era of globalization, it requires business people to be able to formulate their business strategies and tactics. Through the right strategy, it is hoped that the business can develop well. (cah/yon)
