Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – During the Holy Month of Ramadan 1439 H, the working hours of state civil servants (ASN) in the Malang City Government have changed. The changes were made to realize the improvement in the quality of the implementation of fasting during the Month of Ramadan 1439 H.
The explanation was delivered by the Regional Secretary of Malang City, Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, Tuesday (16/5) at Malang City Hall.
This change in working hours, continued Wasto, is in accordance with the Circular Letter (SE) of Malang City No. 800/1113/35.73.403/2018 concerning Working Hours Schedule for the Month of Ramadan 1439 H/2018 M.
"For agencies/services/offices within the Malang City Government that have five-day working hours, during Monday-Thursday, they start at 08.00 WIB and finish work at 15.00 WIB. The break time is from 12.00 WIB to 12.30 WIB," he explained.
Meanwhile, on Friday, working hours start at 07.30 WIB to 15.00 WIB with a break time at 11.30 to 12.30 WIB. "On that day, physical fitness exercises are also carried out at 07.30 until finished," he continued.
For government agencies that implement six working days, Monday to Thursday, and Saturday, working hours start at 08.00 WIB – 14.00 WIB. Break time is at 12.00-12.30 WIB. While on Friday, working hours start at 07.30-15.00 WIB with break time at 11.30-12.30 WIB.
Although working hours are reduced during the month of Ramadan, Wasto emphasized that it does not affect the performance of ASN and services to the people of Malang City and also because fasting motivates to continue working and worshiping. (say/yon)
