Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The oath-taking of 25 state civil servants within the Malang City Government was held in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall, Monday (4/6).

The PNS oath-taking was led directly by the Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH.
Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency of Malang City Dra. Anita Sukmawati, Assistant for General Administration of the Regional Secretariat of Malang City dr. Supranoto, M.Kes, and Heads of OPDs within the Malang City Government were also present on this occasion.
Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH revealed that an oath or promise is a very important thing, as well as a pledge in carrying out duties which aims to ensure that official duties are carried out with full responsibility. Not only accountable to the leader or institution, but also to God Almighty.
"Thus, if someone commits a violation, not only will they be sanctioned, but it will be a serious violation because they are breaking their promise to God," said Wasto, Monday (4/6).
Wasto also advised the 25 civil servants who had taken the oath to be able to demonstrate commitment and moral responsibility for the consequences of being appointed as civil servants in the Malang City Government.
"Moreover, there are many people out there who aspire to be in your position, but not everyone gets the opportunity. So, show your gratitude in the form of enthusiasm and the best performance," he said again.
Civil servants today must have creative, progressive and innovative thinking, because in the future work challenges will not get easier, so they require competence, integrity and professionalism.
The 25 civil servants who have been sworn in consist of 22 civil servants from the PTT midwife program of the Ministry of Health and 3 civil servants from the THL-TB agricultural extension program of the Ministry of Agriculture. (cah/yon)
