Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Ahead of the Eid al-Fitr 1439 Hijri holiday, the Malang City Police held a Troop Readiness Roll Call for Operation Ketupat Semeru 2018 at the Merdeka Square in Malang City, Wednesday (6/6).
The roll call was led by the Malang City Police Chief, AKBP Asfuri, SIK and was attended by joint personnel from the TNI, Polri, Malang City Transportation Agency, Malang City Satpol PP, Fire Department, BPBD, PMI, and other related parties.
AKBP Asfuri, SIK revealed that to ensure that Malang City remains conducive ahead of Eid, the Police together with all stakeholders and the people of Malang City are making various preparations.
"We will establish five monitoring posts (security) and two service posts spread across Malang City. The security posts will be located at the PDAM Office, Landungsari, Mitra, Kacuk, and Sawojajar. Meanwhile, service posts will be established at Kota Baru Station and Arjosari Terminal," explained AKBP Asfuri.
Operation Ketupat 2018 will last for 18 days starting from June 7, 2018 to June 24, 2018. It is hoped that with Operation Ketupat 2018 ahead of Eid al-Fitr, Malang City will always maintain its conduciveness. (cah/yon)
