Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In this blessed moment of Ramadan, the Malang City Social Service held a breaking of the fast together with orphanage children and people with disabilities in the Malang City Social Service hall, Thursday (7/6).
On this occasion, the Malang City Social Service handed over 150 packages to orphanage children and people with disabilities in Malang City.
The Regional Secretary of Malang City and speaker H. Anas Fauzi, S.Ag, M.Pd were present on this occasion. Also present were the Head of the Malang City Social Service Dra. Sri Wahyuningtyas, M.Si, Blimbing Sub-district Head Drs. Muarib, M.Si, and 150 orphans and people with disabilities throughout Malang City.
In his speech, the Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH expressed his appreciation for this activity.
"We hope that this activity can be a means of fostering friendship to jointly provide the best for people in need," explained Wasto, Thursday (7/6).
This activity is a good effort from the government to motivate children who always want to achieve whatever their condition. He said, children from orphanages and people with disabilities should not be inferior and continue to learn, work and achieve.
Meanwhile, H. Anas Fauzi, S.Ag, M.Pd in his sermon explained the recipe for becoming a successful person. He said, there are at least four things that must be avoided in order to become a person who can achieve.
"First, people cannot be successful if they still have an ungrateful nature, always complaining about what they receive," said Anas.
Second, the nature of people who cannot achieve success are people who drink alcohol. Third are people who are stingy in giving charity to orphans and the poor.
"The fourth is enjoying ngitit (stealing without feeling like stealing). These are four attitudes that characterize people who cannot be successful," explained Anis.
With what the Social Service has done, Anas hopes that it can bring more inspiration and blessings to the city of Malang. From the prayers of orphans and the disabled in the city of Malang, hopefully this city will be free from all forms of slander and misfortune and become a city full of blessings. (cah/yon)
