Mudik Together with the Harmonious Unity of the Ministry of Communication and Information

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia through inviting the community to go home together in harmony and togetherness. The campaign invitation held in several cities provides tips on how to prepare for going home for safety and comfort on the road.

In collaboration with the Malang City Communications and Information Service and the Malang City Police, Monday (11/06) evening, the Mudik Bareng Guyub Rukun campaign was held in front of Malang's Kota Baru Station.

Director of International Information Services The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Bambang Gunawan, M.Si, invited and gave tips on how residents can safely return home. Starting from when they want to leave, during the trip until they arrive at their hometown.

"Before going home, make sure the condition of the house is safe, namely by checking the source of electricity, PDAM, gas stove, and making sure the doors and windows are locked," he said.

When traveling home, he continued, do not bring too many unnecessary items. Pay attention to health conditions, obey traffic regulations, and residents should take advantage of the free homecoming program as much as possible.

At this moment, the Ministry of Communication and Information also invites the public who are active gadget users to use it well. Such as using social media wisely, not spreading hate speech, hoax news and filtering information before it is disseminated.

"Through this program, it is hoped that the homecoming tradition will run safely and comfortably, and the community will be smarter in responding to various news and information received or circulated," concluded Bambang. (say/yon)
