Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The 2018 School Love (KCS) activity of SMK PGRI 3 Malang was held in the front yard of MOG Malang City, Tuesday (3/7). Acting Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji acted as the Ceremony Inspector. The Acting Mayor of Malang gave motivation to 880 new students of SMK PGRI 3 Malang.
In his message, Sutiaji conveyed to the ceremony participants that as a young generation produced from vocational schools, it is hoped that they will be able to establish new jobs so that they do not only fill job vacancies.
"We must continue to encourage this because Malang City is one of the cities with a high unemployment rate. Therefore, we must encourage young people to be able to become entrepreneurs themselves," said Sutiaji.
Sutiaji also advised that in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and also ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) is so liberal, one of which is the ease with which foreign workers can enter our country, so we must continue to prepare competitive Human Resources.
"This process must be carried out in a national education system, which is manifested in the curriculum in vocational high schools," he added.
By taking the theme 'Different for Indonesia', KCS 2108 SMK PGRI 3 Malang aims to provide an introduction to new students to the school environment while educating them to learn discipline from an early age.
"Through this activity, we hope that new students also have a love for SMK PGRI 3 as a place for them to gain knowledge," hoped Adhy Ariyanto, ST, MT as the Chief Executive of KCS 2018 SMK PGRI 3 Malang. (say/yon)
