Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – To determine the level of development of the performance of sub-districts and districts throughout Malang City, the Malang City Government is making development efforts through sub-district competition activities and assessment of sub-district performance synergy.
This activity, which has been held since 2014, aims to evaluate performance and to determine the effectiveness of the level of performance development of sub-districts and villages in Malang City over a certain period of time in the context of governance and development implementation.
Head of the Government Section of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Dicky Haryanto, SH, MM who is also the chairman of the organizing committee said that the village competition began with village evaluations in January to February 2018 and ended with field verification in April 2018 by the 2018 Malang City village competition evaluation team.
"Meanwhile, for sub-districts, the assessment of sub-district performance synergy begins with filling out the assessment indicator questionnaire in March 2018 and ends with field verification in April 2018," explained Dicky.
Based on the series of activities, as the peak of the event, the 2018 Autonomy Award Night for Village Heads and Sub-district Heads was held on Wednesday night (4/7) at the Graha Cakrawala Building, Malang.
The event was attended by Acting Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji and his wife, Malang City Police Chief AKBP Asfuri, SIK, Commander of Kodim 0833 Malang City Lt. Col. Inf. Nurul Yakin, Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, and all Heads of OPDs within the Malang City Government.
In his speech, the Acting Mayor of Malang expressed his pride in the holding of the Autonomy Award for Village Heads and Sub-district Heads because it can be implemented consistently and continuously. "Malang City is the only city in Indonesia that has a performance assessment activity for villages and sub-districts like the Autonomy Award," said Sutiaji.
"The winner of this competition will also represent Malang City at the national and even international level in similar events," he said.
Sutiaji also advised that through this activity, sub-districts and districts in Malang City can continue to improve their performance and innovation as the vanguard in order to provide the best service to the community.
Through this event, Sutiaji also hopes that the village heads and sub-district heads who excel will also get additional positive points for their future careers. "I have a message for the team Position and Rank Consideration Board (Baperjakat) so that village heads and sub-district heads who excel get rewards to be promoted to places that suit their respective abilities," he added.
In this event, Polowijen Village became the third best, the second best was achieved by Tunjungsekar Village, and the first best was achieved by Blimbing Village. For the best sub-district was achieved by Lowokwaru District, while the best supporter predicate was achieved by Kiduldalem Village and Tunjungsekar Village. (say/yon)
