Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Communication and Informatics Service (Kominfo) of Malang City held a Socialization of Cryptography and Information Security, Data Equipment and Cryptography Material Activities in the Malang City Government Environment in 2018, at the Gajahmada Hotel, Thursday (05/07/2018).
Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Service, Zulkifli Amrizal, S.Sos., M.Si, in his speech, revealed that in the current reform era, a new paradigm has emerged in the field of cryptography.
If previously all the codes were secret, now they have dared to show and introduce themselves. "However, the codes still adhere to the confidentiality of information," explained Zul, as he is familiarly called.
There is information that can indeed be...publish, and there is also information that must be kept confidential. In this digital era, it is very important to pay attention to the aspect of information security. Because information and communication governance will be disrupted if information as the main object experiences problems.
This activity is expected to make all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) within the Malang City Government have an understanding regarding cryptography. This is expected to increase awareness of increasing information in organizing information through cryptography. For that, a shared understanding is needed so that in the future, services to the community will be even better.
Meanwhile, Head of the Code Section of the Public Communication and Code Division of the Malang City Communication and Information Service, Mohamad Ridwan, STP, MM, said that this event had the theme "Building a Code Work Relationship Pattern for ODP" and was attended by participants from all ODPs within the Malang City Government.
