Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government through the Malang City Communication and Informatics Service held a Healthy Internet Training and its Utilization to Improve the Economy of the Malang City Community at the STIKI Malang City hall, Tuesday (10/07/2018).
The event was opened by the Secretary of the Communication and Information Service, Ir. Yayuk Hermiati, MH, representing the Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Service who was unable to attend. She revealed that in addition to positive influences, the internet must also be recognized as bringing many negative influences. Therefore, this educational activity is to provide an understanding to the public about the use of the internet in a healthy and beneficial way.
"In addition to positive content, there is also a lot of negative content on the internet. Therefore, many parties including Kominfo are now continuing to make efforts to educate people about healthy internet use," explained Yayuk.
Yayuk advised the participants, most of whom were mothers, to make the most of the activity, to use the internet wisely together. In addition, it can also be used in the economic sector.
Meanwhile, Head of Informatics Application Division (Aptika) of Malang City Communication and Information Service Ir. Titis Andayani, MM said that the internet offers very fast information exchange activities.
"We deliberately conducted this training to help the people of Malang City to utilize the internet properly. Including to increase economic income," said Titis.
This training was conducted from 10-11 July 2018 and was attended by participants from Darma Wanita, PKK, UMKM Malang City, Community Information Group (KIM), and also local residents.
"This training is expected to further improve the ability of the people of Malang City to utilize the internet properly," he continued.
