Acting Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji, Advisory Board of Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership of Malang City Taufik Kusuma, Chairman of Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership of Malang Abdul Harris, and the ranks of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership were present on this occasion.

CJH from KBIH RSI Aisyiyah will be officially departed to Baitullah on July 24, 2018 along with other CJH of Malang City. Based on data from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Malang City, the number of CJH of Malang City in 2018 was 1.352 CJH.

Acting Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji when giving his sermon emphasized that spiritual rituals and physical rituals in the Hajj pilgrimage must bring change. Not only changes that are individual (personal), but also must lead to changes that are social in nature and dimension.

"This is what is called a hajj that brings blessings, which brings change towards goodness. Let's spread the virus of goodness. That is the important message that must be brought and carried out by hajj," he explained to CJH KBIH Aisyiyah.

The Acting Mayor of Malang who also regularly gives Friday sermons at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque also left three messages to be used as guidelines for CJH. "Live as you please, but remember that you are actually a corpse. Love what you love, because you will be separated from what you love (because nothing lasts forever). Please do good deeds, no matter how small the deeds are, they will be weighed," he said.

Based on this, it is hoped that the Hajj pilgrimage can eliminate polytheism. Although not a theocratic state, religious values are the main pillars in the life of the nation and state as depicted in the first principle of Pancasila, namely Belief in the One Almighty God.

"And the Hajj pilgrimage is an instrument to strengthen that vision so that the government is interested in being present in the Hajj procession because of this noble goal and is implemented in the amar ma'ruf nahi munkar movement," explained Sutiaji.

At the end of his sermon, Acting Mayor of Malang Sutiaji also offered prayers for the City of Malang and especially for the younger generation considering the onslaught of moral shifts (demoralization) that can destroy the life of society, nation and state. (say/yon)
