BACKGROUND

1. In order to welcome the 73rd Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, we invite the public to celebrate it together while also supporting the 18th Asian Games by... Gate Decorating Competition.
2. This competition is a synergy between KOMINFO, KEMENDAGRI, and the Asian Games Committee (INASGOC)

TEMA
The theme of the 2018 Asian Games is ENERGY OF ASIA GAPURA COMPETITION to reflect the spirit that radiates from Asia, with its diverse colors, languages ​​and cultures.

DIVISION OF ROLES

A. MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION

• Coordinating the implementation of the 2018 Asian Games Arch Competition
• Kominfo collaborates with the provincial Kominfo Office to mobilize public participation.
• Together with INASGOC, we select the Winners for the Gate Competition.
• Kominfo will decide on the candidates if no nominations are submitted from the provinces.

B. MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS
Encourage Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) at the provincial/district/city level to mobilize the community to actively participate in the 73rd Anniversary Gate Competition.

C. DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION/PROVINCIAL OPD
Carrying out massive socialization activities related to the 73rd Anniversary Gate Competition;
2. Assign the Communication and Information Service at the Regency/City level in its area to mobilize community elements to participate;
3. Provincial level OPDs assign district/city level OPDs to increase community participation;
4. Can act as a facilitator at the provincial level and as an initial curator who will select 3 nominated gate works as representatives of each province to compete at the national level (optional).

D. REGENCY/CITY COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION SERVICES/OPD
The spearhead of the movement in society by ensuring a minimum of 3 participants to participate in this competition.

E. Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC)
Facilitate creative direction of competition concepts (including creative assets) and support judging.

EXECUTION TIME

1. Collection of photos and videos of the Gate by participants from 5 to 19 August 2018;
2. Judging of works starts from 20 to 23 August 2018;
3. Winner Announcement August 24, 2018.

COMPETITION TERMS

1. MECHANISM
a. Gate decoration competition for the 73rd Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia and the 2018 Asian Games;
b. Participants are required to use the 73rd Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia logo;
c. Participants can download Asian Games visual assets from the link provided by the Asian Games Committee (INASGOC) at the address https://k-cloud.kominfo.go.id/s/lombagapuraAG18
d. Participants can register, upload PHOTOS and VIDEOS of their gate creations and display products via the page. www.dukungbersama.id/lombagapura

2. PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
a. Participant groups are residents/youth organizations or other community elements.
b. Participants have 1 (one) gate that will be decorated according to the theme of the Indonesian Independence Day celebration and the 2018 Asian Games.
c. Each group of participants consists of a maximum of 10 people.

3. HOW TO SEND THE RESULTS OF THE GAPURA COMPETITION
a. Participants are required to upload 3 photos of the gate consisting of before images, the process of making it and the results of the decoration;
b. Participants upload amateur videos of the finished gate decoration with a maximum duration of 1 (one) minute (optional)
c. Participants can submit their work until August 19, 2018.

SELECTION MECHANISM
1. The committee will receive, curate and conduct initial selection of all competition entries;
2. The committee can send the selection results to the Provincial Government, in this case the Communication and Information Service, to propose 3 (three) winning candidates.
3. The Central Committee carries out an assessment on the jury consisting of elements

• Kominfo
• INASGOC
• Creative Team

4. The judging criteria are determined based on the Jury's scoring of:

• Visual creativity
• Creativity in Using Materials
• Theme Selection

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
Some general criteria are as follows:

1. All participants in the Gate Decoration Competition will be judged regardless of the form, from minimalist to professional, as long as there is writing about Indonesian independence and the 2018 Asian Games (minimum level);
2. The GAPURA made by participants contains the theme of the 2018 Asian Games which brings positive spirit
3. The gate must not display the following:
   – Certain trademarks/brands, both sponsors and non-sponsors of the 2018 Asian Games;
   – Modification of the 2018 Asian Games mascot;
   – Modified national flag and emblem;
   – Flags and national emblems of countries that are not participants in the 2018 Asian Games;
   – Visuals containing elements of sex and religion;
   – Visuals of cigarettes or smoking activities and use of other illicit substances;
   – Elements of political parties or visualizations of political figures;
   – Acts of violence against fellow humans or animals.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

1. After the results are collected and assessed by the assessment team, the winner will be announced on August 24, 2018.
2. The winners will be announced on the dukungbersama.id website and will be contacted directly by the committee.

COMPETITION PRIZE
The winners of the Gate Competition will receive the following prizes:

• 1st Place Team will receive a cash prize of Rp. 25.000.000,-
• 1 Second Place Team will receive a cash prize of Rp. 15.000.000,-
• 1 Third Place Team will receive a cash prize of Rp. 10.000.000,-
• 25 winning teams of entertainment will each receive cash of Rp. 3.500.000,-
