Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tjahjo Kumolo asked village heads to have the same vision and perception in working so that they can provide more optimal services to all levels of society.

Village heads must also focus on their work, especially in using the government budget allocated for village development so that villages can be more advanced and developed in various aspects.
The existence and active role of the village head greatly determines the progress of the village and in improving the welfare of the community. Therefore, all village heads must work with focus and more optimally, especially in realizing Village Funds sourced from the Government.
That was what Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo conveyed when visiting Malang City Hall, Tuesday (31/7). The Ministry of Home Affairs will also continue to provide reinforcement in various aspects for village heads, so that village officials understand how to prepare development plans.
In addition, the Minister of Home Affairs said that village heads can also make accountability reports, how to mobilize and organize the community in the village, and work more focused and optimally.
"This reinforcement will also be conveyed by President Joko Widodo, tomorrow, Wednesday (8/1) in Malang City to village heads throughout East Java and eastern Indonesia," he explained.
One of the focal points of strengthening these village heads, continued the Minister of Home Affairs, is especially related to the mechanism for making more effective and efficient village fund financial reports. "In accordance with the President's direction, village heads must focus on various things in the village, such as how good deliberation is, and how to empower the community," he continued.
Regarding the program to strengthen village heads, the Minister of Home Affairs also asked regional governments to play an active role so that in the future villages will hopefully be more advanced and developed.
"This will be realized optimally if the village head plays an active role, has the same vision and perception, and is focused on working," concluded Minister Tjahjo. (say/yon)
