Displayed at Russia-Indonesia Business Forum, Malang Batik Amazes International Community

Malang, MC – The creative products of handicrafts from entrepreneurs in Malang City have successfully rocked the international world. This was demonstrated by Antik Batik when holding a show of his work in Moscow, Russia at the Russia-Indonesia Business Forum, Monday (6/8).

Combining the exoticism of batik fabric with modern fashion style, Febby's work from Antik Batik managed to amaze the participants of the forum in Russia. What's more interesting, Antik Batik's creative clothing was shown by beautiful models from Russia. From there, many offers for fashion shows in various countries.

"Next month there are offers for fashion shows from Bahrain, the Netherlands and Türkiye," said Febby, Tuesday (7/8).

He explained that the international community's interest in his batik creations also led to interest in Malang City. Moreover, in the forum, the Head of the Malang City Cooperative and Micro Business Service Dra. Tri Widyani P., M.Si together with the Head of the Malang City Culture and Tourism Service (Disbudpar) Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni, SH, M.Si had the opportunity to explain the tourism and business potential in Malang City.

"Initially they didn't know Malang, now they are very interested in Malang City," said Febby.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Cooperative and UM Office of Malang City, Dra. Tri Widyani P,. M.si said that the work of Antik Batik is proof that local products are able to speak at the international level.

"The quality of Malang City's SME products is not inferior to products from other cities, even from other countries. This is what we will develop later," said Tri Widyani.

He added, one of the missions of Malang City's participation in the Russia-Indonesia Business Forum is none other than introducing business and tourism potential. The goal is none other than attracting tourists as well as marketing and introducing Malang City's MSME products in the international arena.

"Alhamdulillah after our presentation the participants were very enthusiastic about Malang City, both in terms of tourism potential and business potential," said Tri Widyani. (cah/yon)
