Sutiaji said that along with the rapid development of the world of information technology, maintaining the noble personality of the nation is very important. Along with the rapid flow of direct information, it is likely that the culture between countries will attack Indonesia.

"Now is an era that we cannot avoid and we cannot stem. Therefore, we must make the best possible efforts including through Scouts to be able to maintain the nation's culture," said Sutiaji, Monday (27/8).

The existence of Pramuka as a scouting organization is expected to be active in anticipating the negative influence of foreign culture. Therefore, Pramuka must be able to create activities that can attract the younger generation so that its existence remains in demand.

"Grow a sense of love for Scouts. Only from there can we build a strategy to be able to utilize the information era while also being a bridge in achieving the Scout mission," he added again.

In addition, young people in the Scout organization must be innovative and creative. Because from there it can produce something useful for the nation and the community.

"The commemoration of Scout Day should not stop at the ceremony, make this a means and reflection as well as a medium for institutional revitalization and work programs," he invited.

On this occasion, Sutiaji also advised the Scout activists in Malang City to be a torch in their environment, so that later it can be useful for the community, both in efforts to facilitate the national development agenda or maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. (cah/yon)
