Even though she only won silver in the women's individual recurve event, this veiled woman's achievement deserves appreciation.

In this match, the match was exciting because it was a chase for points that lasted for five sets. Diananda was ahead in several sets but in the end Diananda had to sportingly admit the superiority of her opponent.

The women's archery coach, Nur Fitriyana, said that her team really appreciated Diananda's struggle and spirit in each round until she reached the final. For the coach, what should be more appreciated is her students' struggle because being in the final round is not easy.

Fitriyana added, many world-class archery athletes have previously been passed by Diananda, such as from Brazil and Chinese Taipei. "For the archery branch, winning this silver medal is more than enough and in the future there are still many championships to follow, and winning more medals, such as the Sea Games and the Olympics," she explained.

Although Dianada actually targeted to win gold, all parties must be satisfied and accept the reality that occurs in the field. The hope is that winning this silver medal will be a trigger or motivation for athletes so that in the future they can be better. (say/yon)
