Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After being inaugurated, 40 members of the Malang City DPRD as a result of the Inter-Time Replacement (PAW) received assistance and briefing from the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs. This is because the DPRD members immediately carried out their duties and responsibilities after several hours of being inaugurated so that the government returned to normal and the image of the DPRD as a representative of the people in parliament was good again and the people would be served well too.
The inauguration of 40 members of the Malang City DPRD is a special concern of the Ministry of Home Affairs because after a vacancy occurred. Quick steps were taken by the East Java Regional Government together with related ranks so that the PAW process and the inauguration of new council members could be carried out immediately.
Yesterday, Monday (10/09), a few hours after the inauguration of 40 DPRD members, the Ministry of Home Affairs provided assistance and briefing and these people's representatives immediately went to work. This briefing was to provide enthusiasm and a framework for working so that their work would be different from previous DPRD members, because they had the burden of building a new image.
These are some of the things conveyed by the Director General of Regional Autonomy of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Soni Sumarsono after attending the inauguration of 40 members of the Malang City DPRD. Positive behavior, he said, must be truly demonstrated, because the SK and inauguration have been accelerated.
"In this technical guidance, among others, forming a Bamus, the completeness of the council, ratification of factions, plenary meetings, consultations between factions, and all of that must be completed today. Later, the technical guidance will also be held at the Ministry of Home Affairs, where the speakers will also be from the KPK," he added.
According to Soni, this provision and assistance are very important, because the Malang City DPRD is a priority and a special concern so that various acceleration and strengthening programs are very much needed. "Various technology-based work systems, such as e-Planning and e-Budgeting will be implemented so that the people can also control the performance of these council members," he said.
With the assistance and provision for the 40 newly inaugurated DPRD members, Soni hopes that these people's representatives will be able to work and serve the community well.
