Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – For the first time after being inaugurated as Mayor of Malang and Deputy Mayor of Malang, Monday (24/9), the pair of Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji and Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko led the morning assembly of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Malang City Government environment which was held in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Tuesday (25/9).

The Mayor of Malang likened it to people walking, so as a pair of mayor and deputy mayor, he and Sofyan Edi will go hand in hand, working hand in hand to work as well as possible for the interests of the City of Malang.
"Mr. Sofyan Edi is a patient person, and his patience will truly be tested by various tests," said Sutiaji, Monday (25/9).
Together with Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi, Sutiaji explained that it would be a good combination to carry out the mandate in a friendly atmosphere. Because only with familiarity and togetherness can various difficulties and heavy work be carried out well.
When leading the roll call at Malang City Hall, Sutiaji revealed that he would share tasks and did not rule out the possibility that Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi would lead the roll call or meeting within the Malang City Government.
Meanwhile, Malang Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi Jarwoko in his speech revealed that before he was elected as deputy mayor with Malang Mayor Sutiaji, it turns out he had competed with Sutiaji. To be exact five years ago, and at that time he also ran as deputy mayor.
"At that time we competed, now we are friends. The point is we continue to be grateful in the struggle, we are also grateful in victory," explained Edi.
On this morning's roll call, Malang Mayor Sutiaji also asked Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi, who had just performed the Hajj pilgrimage, to lead a prayer at the end of the roll call. The reason is, as he said, that as the public's view so far, people who have just come from the Holy Land have their prayers easily answered by Allah SWT. (cah/yon)
