Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – 99 working days of the Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji and Malang Deputy Mayor Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko became the driving force to realize the vision of Malang City with Dignity. After monitoring poverty data, conducting traffic engineering at congestion points, this leadership duo again together with the Dandim 0833 Malang City Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Nurul Yakin and the Malang City Police Chief AKBP Asfuri, SIK conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) at karaoke entertainment venues and cafes, Saturday night (29/9).

"This is inseparable from our concerns, also Forkopimda and community leaders, as well as religious leaders regarding residents' reports of the spread of alcoholic beverages that are not in accordance with their permits. That's why in the 99-day work movement, we conduct spot checks and direct monitoring," explained Sutiaji.
Accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, Head of Satpol PP of Malang City Drs. Priyadi, MM, Head of the Regional Tax Service Agency of Malang City Ir. Ade Herawanto, MT, and Head of Public Relations of the Regional Secretariat of Malang City M. Mur Widianto, S.Sos, elements of PPNS (Civil Servant Investigators), ranks of the Malang City Police and Kodim 0833 Malang City, the inspection targeted karaoke places in the Blimbing area and also cafes located in the Jl. Soekarno-Hatta area.
"This is a sampling and coincides with the three locations being targeted. It is possible that other entertainment venues will be targeted at any time," added the bespectacled man.
Of the three places that were inspected, one of the cafes where the inspection was carried out found to have violated Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2006 concerning Supervision, Control and Prohibition of the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages.
"We took action, we conducted a BAP, and we confiscated the liquor because it did not comply with the permit, because it should only have a permit to sell at a business location for Class A (1-5 percent content), but the person concerned sold products with Class B (5-20 percent content). This is clearly a violation, therefore we took action," he explained.
The origin of all social problems (crime_ed), explained Sutiaji, is one of them from alcoholic beverages. Therefore, the regulation also emphasizes that the purchase of alcoholic beverages is only for consumption on the spot (localized), in fact many are violated (consumed outside). Therefore, all applications for (new) alcoholic beverage permits in Malang City are temporarily moratoriumed first.
Meanwhile, the Head of Satpol PP of Malang City, Drs. Priyadi, MM, emphasized that the managers of night entertainment venues that were raided should immediately resolve their problems. "Tomorrow, Monday (01/10) come to the Satpol PP Office to resolve this violation. The manager is suspected of violating Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2006 concerning Supervision, Control, and Prohibition of the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages," said the Head of Satpol PP of Malang City.
In addition to targeting liquor licensing, the inspection also examined the taxation aspects. Head of BP2D Malang City Ir. Ade Herawanto, MT emphasized the importance of Taxpayers (WP) participating in the online tax program or e-Tax. "It is recommended that cafes/karaoke places or restaurants immediately join the online tax program, aka e-Tax "So that tax officers do not conduct surprise inspections like this which will make you feel uncomfortable," he explained.
Because if you have joined the program e-Tax, Ade added, then we can directly monitor tax payments without having to go to the field. "If you give the excuse of not having a computer or with compatible or modem or tapping box, then the Malang City Government has provided a system for borrowing the equipment needed through BP2D," explained Sam Ade, his nickname.
